Play dough is a childhood must.  Make sure you have plenty of it on hand.  Younger children love the edible recipe, while older children appreciate the for keeps recipe.

Edible Play Dough

Gather 2 cups of powdered milk, 2 cups smooth peanut butter, 1 cup honey, medium bowl, spoon.

Combine all ingredients in a bowl.  Stir with spoon until well blended.

Play, shape, eat.  Repeat.

For Keeps Play Dough

Gather 2 cups flour, 1 cup salt, 3/4 cup water, 2 tablespoons cooking oil, 2 bowls.   For coloring poster paint or food coloring.

Combine flour and salt in a large bowl.

Add oil to water.  Add water slowly into flour mixture, kneading until soft and pliable.

Play and shape.  Dry overnight.

A classic.
